French M52 canteen (with Vietnamese name)

Hi,

I bought this Mle 52 canteen with a vietnamese name : too early for the Indochina war - except if such gears were given or sold by France to the FAVN after 1955.

Do you know if those type of items have been worn as private purchased stuffs during the VNWar (any pics ?) ?

If not, it will be used for a DAM SAN commando member.

Thanks for your answer, but it seems to be a TAP M51 canteen...

Anyway, it will be a suitable item for a DAM SAN Cdo display in Algeria!
